Edna was born, met the love of her life, Staff Sergeant Richard E. Scrogham (at the roller rink), and raised her three children in and around Santa Ana and the Los Angeles area of California.
Musical talent ran in the Franke Family. Edna was no exception. Edna and sisters, Betty and Lois sang for their church and on the radio and to inmates at the local jail. She spent time at the beach and loved to sew. Edna would make most of the childrens clothes and shirts for her husband, and she would sell shirts to his co-workers. Crocheting, traveling to Vegas, and sightseeing in their gypsy queen travel trailer, were also some of their favorite pass times.
In the 1980's Edna moved to Soap Lake, Washington with Richard where they lived till he died. In 2020 she moved to Klamath Falls with daughter Brenda, to be with family until passing away. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A gentle, loving, and godly lady till the end. She lived life to the fullest, doing her own thing till passing away.
Edna will be laid to rest with Richard in McLean, Texas with her mom, and siblings in the family plot.
