Arnulfo “El Coco” Gutierrez Meza passed away on January 18, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with illness. Born on September 20, 1959, he lived a life marked by generosity, humor, and a love that touched everyone around him.
In 1986, he met the love of his life, Rebeca. They married the following year and spent nearly 40 years building a beautiful life together—raising four children, welcoming six grandchildren, and creating a home filled with laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion. Rebeca cared for him with extraordinary tenderness until his final day.
Arnulfo was known for his willingness to help anyone, always going the extra mile to guide, teach, and support. To his family, he was the best dad, a devoted husband, and a proud “Papa.” His presence brought warmth, safety, and joy to every room.
He is survived by his wife, Rebeca; his daughters Juanita (Jose Angel), Jessica (Jonathan), and Leslie (Brian); his son Arnulfo Jr. (Yvette); and his grandchildren Johan, Abigail, Priscilla, Arnulfo, Cyrille, and Carter.
Originally from Nayarit, Mexico, Arnulfo came to the United States at a young age and made the Klamath Basin his home. He worked tirelessly throughout his life—at the Hill Family Ranch, the Red Rooster Potato Shed (“El Gallito”), WC Ranch, and later at Harvest Ford—earning respect for his reliability, humor, and strong work ethic.
He loved the outdoors, traveling, music, good food, and especially experimenting with new recipes. But nothing made him happier than having his wife, children, and grandchildren gathered in his living room. That was his heaven on earth.
Arnulfo had a heart of gold. He loved fiercely, laughed easily, and lived fully. His absence leaves a tremendous void, but his stories, his humor, and his love will live on forever.
He was one of a kind. He will be deeply missed.

Arnulfo “El Coco” Gutierrez Meza
